Classic Car Show exhibits commemorative work to the 25 years of Senna’s legacy

Ayrton's mother, Mrs. Neyde Senna da Silva, was the one who suggested that a helmet be made for each year of her son's legacy.

For those who like cars, the Classic Car Show Car Museum, on Normando Tedesco Avenue in Balneário Camboriú is a mandatory stop. The attraction which has 35 classic and rare vehicles, now also features a special artwork in celebration of the 25-year legacy of the Brazilian Formula 1 driver, Ayrton Senna.

The artwork, which resembles the helmet that was used by the three-time world champion Ayrton Senna was handmade and sculpted in wood with details in 23-carat gold. Signed by the artist Cainã Gartner, from the city of Gaspar. The 1993 helmet model is part of only 25 helmets sculpted and distributed by the Cainã Gartner worldwide.

Ayrton’s mother, Mrs. Neyde Senna da Silva, was the one who suggested that a helmet be made for each year of her son’s legacy. The helmet number one was delivered to her on May 1, 2019 in Interlagos, São Paulo, during Senna Day. The other works are spread around the world. Part of the sales value was reverted to social and cultural projects through the Ayrton Senna Institute.

Those who a little more about the evolution and transformation of cars over time, just visit the Classic Car Show. The attraction is open every day from 9am to 8pm, with admission until 7pm.
